I've gotten used to the domestic outbound food in ATL. It's a bit unimaginative but Ive never found it unpalatable.
I think is a bit of a sticky situation for the airlines. Customers sitting in F expect food service on longer flights. When it's taken away we gripe and when we have it we gripe. I've not seen one airline (save CO) that has not cut back on their meal service in terms of offerings or quality. AA has moved to "snack" service during certain times and on shorter haul flights. The quality is one step above garbage...a far dry fro when they used to have the best meals in the air.
I guess we need to decide what we want. No food, the same food or better food with a potential fare increase. I'll go with the same food and no fare increases.
