You can't checkin for the AirAsia until 2 hours before and you'll need to go through immig/bag claim/customs to get to the AirAsia checkin desks. You may want to confirm if in fact you'll be able to access the NW club with may not allow you access on arrival (some lounges don't allow, esp if they are not operated by NW). You could rent a transit hotel room for a few hours sleep -- -this is located pre-bag claim/customs/immig (i.e.. close to gates)
I have used the NW lounge in BKK on arrival a number of times. Sometimes they are a bit hesitant, but eventually they give in. If you have an onward ticket, that would convince the staff, even if you don't have a BP.
