Exit row seat for non-Elite companion?
In the past, I have chosen an exit row seat for myself and put spouse and child in the next row. (I'm claustrophobic....he is not!) Today, while choosing seats for an upcoming flight, I was able get all three of us into an exit row. That surprised me. Will this hold, or will we be "re-accommodated" when the computer or a gate agent realizes I'm the only Medallion?

(I am ducking tomatoes now...)
