Both hotels (Hampton Inn SoHo & Hilton Garden Inn Tribeca) opened in the past 6 months and are relatively close to each other and the subway lines are between them (A/C/E/1)

If I were using points I'd use the lower points of the two, but when you can get Hilton's in NYC for under $200, it may be a better use to pay and use points later
