I was there for 2 nights at the end of Sept 2008. I like the location--it is right in the heart of a fun area to shop and walk around in Downtown Anchorage. They have a small but very well run HHonors Lounge with great service, nice food choices, and a beautiful view. The room decor is average...nothing fantastic but not awful either. The lobby has a very cool stuffed polar bear. I liked their room service menu. The President of Iceland was staying there during my visit.

I was trying to qualify for Diamond before the end of the month and needed to check-in and check-out and then check back in to have enough stays. The front desk staff understood and had no problem at all with my request and made it really easy.^
