Hello Gurus

I have an Silver Elite with Continental and my program benefits extend into 2009. Having said that and with CO moving to Star Alliance in June, I want to switch to NWA from this year and start cummulating. Would that mean that I loose my Silver Elite benefits until I cummulate enough segments in NWA?

Also, should I continue with Continental or switch to NWA? I do a lot of business travel in continental US, some personal to Europe and Asia.
