Thaks for the response. I'm trying to deciper. Let's see if I have this right.

1) "Other fare" upgrades are automatic and I'll get a new seat when I check in (I'm guessing).

2) Upgrades do NOT work on award travel. That makes sense.

3) Award upgrades on partners only work on NW now and maybe DL in the future.
