Honolulu just seems very run down in general, and that's reflected in the city and the hotel properties therein.
I agree and the Starwood hotels there don't do much to change that generality.
Perhaps the Royal Hawaiian might when the renovations are done. The room renovations at the Sheraton Waikiki were less than impressive I'm afraid--at least in the room that I had--certainly an improvement but it was pretty bad before these changes.
