So we are going through security in Cancun last weekend and one of the Mex. TSA drones pulls my 4 oz saline solution out of the kip baggie and tells me it is too large and must be taken away. Mind you this bottle has been through the TSA scanner numerous times as well as Germany, etc. But of course there is no arguing with the drones so I said "go ahead make my day."

It wasn't until I got home that I discovered the 6oz tube of aloe vera (I believe gels qualify as liquids, no?) at the bottom of my bag which was missed by both Mexican and our TSA in PHX.

Did I forget to mention that the Mexicans have random gate rape where they confiscate water bottles (obviously purchased after security)?
