3 A380s flying today, 12 by year end 2009; so about 5% chance today and 20% chance soon. However QF is being smart in deploying the A380 on key routes with a predictable schedule, so if you want to fly the A380 your chances go up to 99% as long as you go to LAX or LHR. Much less EQV than some other airlines.

Excellent point. I've had to do this once (in 10 years and hundreds of flights). Very effective. And no need to complain afterwards on the ground (or FT).
