But in another thread recently, someone complained when a relative was offered, free, an earlier, direct flight (avoiding possible weather problems) and an upgrade from Y to F--and wondered if that was enough.
Two separate and unrelated scenarios. The relative was subjected to a pre-removal call which attempts to alleviate way overbooked flights by offering a better flight option at no cost(maybe with an upgrade or voucher offer)
