All mine cancelled Chase cards still show available credit, identical as the credit limit.

The EASIEST way is to just call the 1-800 at the back of your card, after the phone system got all your info (last 4 digit of your card, zip code), it will tell you THIS CARD IS CURRENTLY CANCELLED. Your current balance is 0.... blah blah blah.

I always use the phone prompt to verify cancellation with Chase.
