Follow-up to the CRC question:
1. Is the "E" lounge the only one with the shower?
2. Has anyone used the showers? How are they? Nice? "avoid-at-all-costs"? In the middle?
3. Can I check into the T concourse one with my wife, leave her there as I go to the E concourse and use the shower? (I have a 4 hour layover after a red-eye and would hate to sit there for the entire time.)
There are 2 CRC's in concourse E. The first one you come to has the showers which are clean but basic.....no fancy shower heads, etc. You also only get towels and soap/shampoo/rinse are liquids on the shower wall. If you need to shave, brush, etc., you must provide your own stuff. It's still very nice after a long flight. Oh....don't forget a change of undies.
Rather than dumping your wife at T, go just a bit further in E from the first CRC and you'll come to the former Biz Elite CRC which is nice and quiet....most just go into the first CRC. Dump you wife there as I did in October then go back and take that refreshing shower.
