Chile and Brazil both call it reciprocity fee, but that does not make it any cheaper. Arg. is coming soon. At approximately $130 pp, each country, it adds up quickly. Knowing some on FT, the fees are acessed a various points of entry and not others. If I give specifics, I will likely be wrong, however in Chile, I believe the fee is only collected at SCL. Come in any other way or airport and no fee. Brazil seems to be more ready to collect at other sites. They also have an exit fee for some (as does New Zealand, and others). One might be able to "dodge" some of these fees by routing!?
