I´m no expert, but I´ll chime in anyway.

Do you travel mostly with SK or LH/OS/LX etc.? If you travel with SK you will get bonus as EBS and EBG. On the other hand the same applies with a M&M account when travelling on a M&M airline. I have noticed that EB is lousy when travelling inside europe in economy on any other airline than SK. A fully flexible economy ticket with LH et. al will only render 600 points to EB when it will give you 1250 (+bonus) on M&M. Equal earning discrepancy's happens when travelling in business 2 x miles compared to fixed 2000 (+bonus).

On the other hand I´ve had trips in business from MUC to EVN on LH which gave me more points on EB than what it gave me on M&M.

My conclusion living in Malmö and travelling from CPH on a mix of SK/LH/OS was to switch to Miles and more. Primarily because of the earnings but also because of as a Sen you get access to Sen lounges in Germany regardless of airline flown.
