Right - due to the nature of my life I accumulate about 100 Flybe points a year. Sad as this could have been 1000 tier points on BA.
A few things that I've learnt using those points.
Purchasing regular economy tickets is a waste of energy, as the ticket itself rarely ever costs more than a few dozen pounds, but you do have to pay extra for luggage / taxes / seating etc.
What I do generally is that I use those points for Economy Extra Bookings.
6 extra points will give you:
1) Free luggage (30kg). in regular ticket you can purchase up to 20kg .. and every kilo after that is chargable extra by excess luggage so if you think you've purchased 2 bags for 15 pounds that will give you 2 x 20 .. you are wrong. you are allowed 2 pieces 20kg combined. Also in Economy Extra they are much more lenient - just before christmas me and mrs helahela got away with 100kg between us (books), whilst a colleague of mine paid £180 extra for around 20 extra kilos on regular economy.
2) Free seat selection - you can take the first row free of charge (otherwise £15 each way)
3) Lounge Access
4) Drink (G&T) and Snack voucher.
