If all of those flights were on UA metal, it certainly seems like that should be enough premium travel to qualify. Have you logged into your account since Jan 1 to see if you were upgraded? I've received nothing from UA - the only way I found out about my newly minted GS membership was from the online mileage summary.
No the thing is I flew all those flights last year but like HAlf on UA and HAlf on AA so I ended up with 110,000 UA eqm and 90,000 AA miles and I am wondering if I should just fly UA but only if I would have a shot at GS
