Just got a call from a M+ rep who was responding to my Status Match fax request (AC-E to AA Platinum) and was told that I'm SOL.

AC is no longer one of the airlines AA will match. According to this guy, they will only match 6 airlines including NW, DL and BA, but probably the usual domestic suspects, CO, UA and US. I also got the impression that this would be the last year for the program.

Nice touch M+, changing the rules after I plan my travels based on the old rules.
