I am a huge fan of the Hampton on 5th Ave. As a Diamond, I am almost always upgraged to a suite with a balcony. Very convenient to the monorail. Bistro up the block is outstanding for dinner. And loads of public transport are availble to downtown. Transport from the airport to the property via taxi should be in the order of about $40 or so each way. IMHO, the Hampton rocks! The Homewood on Pike street is also a great alternative. Very close to downtown attractions but actually not as spacious as the Hampton Suites. Parking is also an issue at the Homewood.....upwards of $20 per day.....still better than the Hilton which is around $30 per day.
