So I'm looking at day tours from Alexandria to Cairo. I've been offered two options and haven't been able to find a fair comparison between these two, hoping any fellow FT'ers can shed some light.

Option 1: Visit Three Pyramids of Giza, Sphinx and Egyptian Museum

Option 2: Visit Three Pyramids of Giza, Sphinx and Memphis and Sakkara

I understand the museum might be a different experience but wanted to know if Memphis/Sakkara are worth it. We are not museum junkies and usually visit them for a couple of hours (we'll get tired if we spend the whole day in any museum). Is the museum a must see when visiting Egypt? Or would we have more fun at Memphis and Sakkara? Are these outdoor sites?

Any advices?
