Brazil's visa is $130, and if you do it by mail it takes another $20 handling plus at least a couple of those USPS Express Mail envelopes at $16 each.

Not to beat a dead horse, but US and Canadian citizens do not need visas to enter Chile. Chile charges a reciprocity fee on entry to citizens of those countries that require Chilean citizens to obtain visas for entry. The fee is set as equal to the amount Chilean citizens pay to obtain the visa, and in the case of Canada is about US$130. Presumably the Chilean government will stop charging the reciprocity fee as soon as other governments rescind the visa requirements for Chilean citizens.
