I tried purchasing Cebu Pacific tickets on their website, but it won't allow me to use my credit card. After numerous attempts I called my bank and asked what was going on. They checked my credit card status and found no problems, and that I should have no problems purchasing a ticket on 5J. Still no luck afterwards.

Finally, I called Cebu Pacific's call center in Manila and they explained to me that 5J does not accept international issued credit cards due to fraud. I found this a hassle because I have to ask a friend to use her philippine-issued credit card from now on. Their airport/city ticket offices do not accept credit cards when purchasing and they add a 300-peso charge (round trip) for purchasing a ticket from them (later found out that they are GSAs).

Cebu Pacific does not have a toll-free number within the Philippines and it's so expensive to call their call center in Manila. It usually takes about an average of 25 minutes to complete a transaction. And that, by the way, is a 2-in-the-morning call!
