I recently flew LH C from FRA to MIA, and I must say LH's food, service, IFE and Amenity kit, etc. beats UA. It is just an overall better travel experience.

For $3,500 to sit in UA's new C and getting bonus EQM, CR-1s and E-500 is not bad.

I have a similar dilemma whether to fly superior products of LH, SQ, NH or UA in 2009. My tentative decision is to fly UA upto 50,000 BIS full Y fare (and above) first...that would give me GS and 1K for 2010, then all the remaining flights will go to other *A carriers which offer better overall flying experience.
