This is an invited level only. This can be achieved by being invited by the BA board members and would only be given out to the CEO or Chairman of that company as their company spends a certain (large!) amount of money with BA per year for their employees or themselves.

The perks are the same as gold but you get the assistance of special services (if required) pre assigned seating such as 1A or whatever you favourite seat is and many more benefits such as access to the concorde room on any flight and any ticket AND TWO guests.

The only other card that gives you direct concorde room access (with two guests) is QANTAS chairmans lounge card and this has to be obtained the same way as a BA premier card.

Once a premier card holders term has finished or the company falls below the criteria, then the holder is usually "downgraded" to gold.

Premier cards are not like gold in the way that tier points are not accrued as this not necessary.

As for the concorde room card given to a Premier card holder, direct access should have been given to them anyway with the premier card. It may have been that the wife (of premier) was given a card to gain access or the premier card holder may have been a high yield gold card and was one of the top 1000 that is rewarded with the concorde room card before being made up to premier, although the concorde room card is usually for gold card holder only and DOES NOT ALLOW ANY GUESTS.

There are a few famous people that are premier card holders. This would be in recognition of their loyalty and use of BA in their worldwide travels!
Tthere are around 2000 premier card holders. I am not sure of the exact amount.
