Your iternal accelerometer is due for recalibration. Edmonds.com says 0-60 in 6.4 seconds, and it would take another 40+ horsepower to knock off a half-second.

I have found the Active Fuel Management eight cyl/four cyl switch to be seamless, but an SS is still a gas hog.
