Yesterday I received a nice looking holiday card that folds out in several pages, each describing a holiday tradition at some NW destination. The back page has a gift card glued to it and a "thanks" for my loyalty.
I haven't detached the card yet and am only guessing that it's for miles. There isn't a note anywhere stating what it is or what it's "value" is. The card itsself states "The gift of miles. You're on your way."
If you detach the card it should say 500 mile on the back of the plastic card and on the paper card where the plastic card was attached.
I got both gift card and a calendar! I am really surprised as I am a lowely GE and technically haven't had any WP flight activity since they started reciprocal upgrades with DL since I am DL Plat so I've been using that instead.
I am really impressed and feel sad that just when I discover the joys of NW, the party is over!
