Ride Report- 2008 Chevrolet Impala SS (V-8)

I stuck my report originally in the Impala thread, but since it's pretty different from the baseline Impala, and a pretty popular car on the ES, I thought I'd make a separate thread for it. One Impala SS confirmed at DCA.

If you're walking down the aisle, how can you distinguish it from all the other vanilla Impalas on the lot? Check for the "SS" badging on the side of the car, moonroof, and leather, and chrome dual exhaust pipes. Also, the wheels are larger and have their own distinctive rims; steering wheel has "SS" on it.

Chevy Impala SS It was the only one on the lot! Just check the side of the car, it says SS on it.

Overview: This was an awesome car, can't wait to try the G8. Performance was great, but interior was a bit plasticky.

Performance: Small block 5.3L V-8, 303-hp! 0-60mph in 5.x seconds. Beat all those slowpokes leaving the toll plaza. Passing on the highway was effortless.

Odometer: 9600 miles

Mileage: Averaged 25 mpg on highway at avg. 75 mph, city driving was worse.

Interior: Leather, monster 19" rims, gynormous trunk, XM radio, Onstar, aux input, woot!
