Last week on my 1 hour flight the FA never once got up from her seat. No pre-departure drink, no hot meal or packaged snack, and NO inflight beverage.
This was in comparison with my 1 hour F flight earlier in the day on OZ, where they served a gourmet 3 course meal with vintage champagne and Grand Cru Burgundy.

Well goodie for you and OZ, but what does that have to do with anything in this thread? OP was commenting on LH and Europe and you babble about your recent orgasmic experience on OZ in Asia. I love SQ, but so what? This thread is about intra-Europe service.
And while US F service is indeed abysmal, at least one doesn't have to sit in a Y seat with no leg room, or connect in FRA.
