i had an AirFrance flight from LAX to PPT, but missed my connection in LAX due to equipment failure (inbound flight was DL). So the next available flight was on a non skyteam partner (next AF flight was 3 days later) which DL booked me on. So did I lose both a day of travel and ~4000 OP & EQM miles?
