The medallion qualification page makes no mention if there is a segment bonus for higher fare classes. Northwest does not offer one, Continental does (though neither offered segment credit to their programs for Delta flights due to the lack of reciprocity).
Anyone have an answer on whether a Y-fare will result in a segment bonus?
I had one Y segment on January 1 and no, it did not show as a bonus segment. I still have two flights = two segments:
Medallion® Qualification Miles (Year to date): 1642
Medallion® Qualification Segments (Year to date): 2
