This is actually one way to deal with UA's lack (except at the GA's discretion) of preboarding for disabled people: request a wheelchair. I know elderly people who are perfectly capable of walking (and lugging their bags), but do so more slowly than younger folks can. So they routinely request a wheelchair, and breeze through the whole boarding process without being bumped and pushed, and without holding everyone else up.
