Decided to ditch Florida and booked the rest of the itinerary with Delta, gaining 8 sectors. CO were only marginally cheaper and 2 sectors less.

There was a comprimise involved though, we're taking a cheaper Star Alliance itinerary for a European trip in March, saving most of the extra we're paying on this one.
