I work in a 120dB + environment so have high end moulded plugs to protect my hearing... no issues at work with them as they cut around -50dB, so very comfortable and quiet.
But they dont bloody work on a plane with regards to children screaming.... how a kids scream/noise cuts through better than one of the best club systems in the world I have no idea
Kids should be put in the hold in a cage with with a rabbit feeder..* (unless they are good, ie QUIET kids)
*joking.....possibly....
