As many astute NW members have figured out long ago, this is just another step in the the DLFU program. The writing has been on the wall since the merger was announced.
While I'm a Plat, and it won't affect me yet, it does affect family accounts, and is yet another step in the downward spiral.
Gas prices are at 5 year lows. They've eliminated 10-15% of all routes, so eliminated many low yield routings.
The redeposit fees are silly. The close in fees, as well. If it were $25-$50 for general members, it might be understandable.
More "changes" will be announced, in dribs and drabs, and then stealth changes that you won't find out until you go to ticket an award.
