my experience (LX flights):

* mileage credit 4 - 6 weeks
* fuel-surcharge and tax credit to credit card: 6 - 10 weeks

and when miles for an award flight were wrongly charged 3 times (instead of once) in early summer 2008 the credit back took over 6 months (I did immediatly inform the swiss miles/more service desk in Basel, and they did keep me informed (and were embarrassed themselves) about their monthly pleggings to miles/more in Germany to credit those miles ...

It seems to be easier and much faster if LH awards/flights are cancelled than LX (or in your case OS flights). The mileage credit for a LH award flight that I cancelled in 2007 took only a week to show up (tax refund took 4 weeks).
