Do you tip in the Concierge Lounges?
A Marriott hotel that I have been staying at a lot lately commonly has a "tip plate" out on the desk in the Concierge Lounge.
This surprised me for two reasons... 1st, I haven't seen (or at least I haven't noticed) this before in other lounges and 2nd... I never tip in the lounge. It's just never occurred to me do so. Once I got to thinking about it, it does make sense.
I'm curious what you do. I'm pretty sure If I'm the only one who doesn't do this then I would have noticed before.
So, what do you do? Please break it down by breakfast, water, or alcohol. I probably would have tipped for alcohol pay for it, but they never have anything I want to drink. (yes, I'm a beer snob)
Cheers!
