By my reading of the fares, it is indeed permitted. The relevant line in the fare rules is
END-ON-END - -PERMITTED WITH ALL FARES
This indicates that you are permitted to string an A-B and a B-C fare together to fly A-C. You do have to actually connect in B (in this case, PIT) to meet the rules.
