If LIAT changed their schedule, they should be the ones to reacommodate you at no charge. Is there an earlier flight that they can switch you to so that you do not miss your US connection? If not, I would investigate cancelling your LIAT ticket and re-booking the entire trip on US. That might be cheaper for you in the long run, and probably less stressful, as well.
