Wear the running shoes and pack your other shoes, which are likely less bulky. You may need your running shoes to run through the terminal to make a tight connection anyway.
There are lightweight racing flat running shoes that pack small, but may not be great to run in a lot on hard surfaces, and are not available in high stability / motion control types.
