Was there a few days before Xmas, and had some decent service when the dining room opened at 7.

As a teacher of ESL to adults, I notice how people use English inappropriately when I decide to tune in (do prefer to leave the job at the office most days tho!). The highlighted bits above are refined usage, and quirky in their grammar and construction for most ESL users.

I don't know about how BA recruits staff for the CCR, or provides any training, including use of language appropriate to the setting, but I've grown accustomed to being asked, even at some very good restaurants, "What do you want?" instead of "What would you like?"

Perhaps there's a job at BA for me?? :P (Any insiders listening? Have experience / qualification, will take TPs, miles, free u/g's etc.! )
