If you don't care which program the miles actually post to...I would use the Delta account. You will get full EQMs for sure (I believe you only get 50% EQMs on CO if the ticket is a discounted econ ticket).
I believe both CO and DL golds get a chance on upgrades on NW...but I don't know how they do the ordering but if airline matters, I would hope DL golds would go higher than CO golds...
