This seems different than the SSSSSS thing. All that gets you is the special security screening at the TSA checkpoint. Did you ever do something to piss off an AS airline employee that they would do something like this in retaliation?
My experience was solely due to the TSA watch list and not the additional screening SSSSS. Alaska's screening process (whatever it is) is definitely more stringent than other airlines and it would be nice if they fixed it or tweeked it where they are not upsetting passengers like the OP or myself. Air travel can be stressfull enough.
