Is there any way to get off of AS's security watch list? I fly a lot out of Seattle, which makes it difficult to avoid Alaska.
The security check itself is quick (AS agents call some central number, which clears my boarding pass in about 3-5 min)...but still very annoying, especially when I'm forced to check in again from a connecting airline.
I'm EXP on American, PE on United...and never have (or had) security issues....even on international carriers as stringent as El Al.
Anyone face similar issues with AS?
This may not be an AS-specific problem. When my itinerary has me taking any carrier on a single one-way segment (with other carriers for the other segments on the trip), I generally get SSSS'd. Could that be the case with your Seattle travels?
