Decent pub grub would be a bonus.
A few that may be good possibilities are:
O'Neills on Suffolk
The Duke
O'Donoghue's (used to be Thingamote) on Suffolk
O'Donoghue's (on Merrion Way, maybe the place to watch the rugby match?)
any thoughts on these?
thanks!
O'Donoghue's on Merrion Row would have a good atmosphere on the days of Rugby matches as would Searsons on Baggot Street...presume you're here for the Ireland vs England match? YOu will definitely be yelling to your friends and fighting your way to the bar that afternoon!
Other good pubs in Dublin city centre are Mulligans of Poolbeg Street and either Ryans or Martin B. Slatterys in Beggars Bush....Martin B's hasn't changed in years!
FYI we call all streets by their full name i.e. Suffolk Street, Baggot St
