+1. The renovated FIs are a great value, perhaps better than any other chain. The non-renovated FIs are hit-and-miss. The last renovated FI I stayed at was in downtown Omaha...surprisingly good. I will typically call the property first to see if it's been renovated, and if not I will choose a CY or above.
