As long as it's ornate in a relatively tasteful manner (I don't like the 'ornate' of Palazzo Versace for instance - I find it not very tasteful), yes ornate is indeed what I'm looking for.

I used to prefer modern, rather minimalistic décor. However not any more - I find that the rooms with modern, minimalistic décor have a higher chance of starting to all look the same with lots of beige, brown and what not.
