If it works for you, then great.

Given what DL has done to SkyMiles in the past several months to substantially reduce the customer value proposition, it is now easier than before to burn the DL miles faster than earning them because award trip earning to regular paid trips ratio is on the decline most substantially with DL. So of course burning them fast is easy -- it is just an expensive burn.

Who burns the miles fastest? The ignorant saps who are overpaying for award travel (in terms of miles and money) relative to what the competition would offer for the same type of origin and destination trip, or even relative to what is bookable by DL-owned NW customers .... until DL further guts NW WorldPerks too.
