I'm curious why you suspect these may be different hotels. As far as I know, there are no other Bora Bora Nui's on Bora Bora and no other Moorea Lagoon Resort and Spa's on Moorea. It would seem pretty coincidental that Hilton would open two hotels on those islands with the same name as Starwood properties. So is it wishful thinking on your part - or something else?
