I'll tag in here since we'll be in London a few nights in January as well.
What of these places would y'all rateas the best value/ experience .....and what has good ambiance?
The best value meals in London are generally the prix fixe lunches at some of the restaurants mentioned above. Of the two/three stars -- the food at the Square is very fine, but the atmosphere is a little more business-orientated than I would have liked for a romantic meal.
In terms of where to eat: you would need to be a bit more specific about what you are after.
