What does this: "Discussion of the latest frequent flyer program buzz..." mean?

To me, it simply means that topics pertinent to the latest news concerning miles and points — without being specific to one airline — should be posted in MilesBuzz!

If the discussion about points and miles is specific to one program only, then it belongs in the forum of that program, such as SkyMiles in the Delta forum or Hilton HHonors in the Hilton forum, for example.

It also means that when posting in MilesBuzz!, one should beehive properly. For example, it may bee better to call someone honey rather than be stung with an insult like “idiot”, as recently witnessed in an earlier thread. This usually leads to the swarming of posts that attack other FlyerTalkers, which is strongly discouraged.

On the flipside, if the FlyerTalker either posts a topic not pertinent to MilesBuzz! or violates the terms and conditions of FlyerTalk, then the moderators will be glefft with no other choice but to lock the thread, no matter how much DLSIZE, moans and complains about it. This even goes for a Moderator2, as moderators are no exception to the rules.
